A NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE WAS ELECTED AMONG THE PARTICIPANTS AT THE ARCTIC UNGULATE CONFERENCE IN JOKKMOKK IN AUGUST 2019
The Danish representatives asked to be redrawn from the committee and instead be part of Greenland. Island was invited to be part of the committee.
The role of the Executive committee is to secure the next Arctic Ungulate Conference (AUC). At each conference the conference participants from each of the included countries (Finland, Sweden, Norway, Russia, Island, Greenland, Canada and USA) select a person among them to represent their country in the committee. The committee is to decide about the host of the coming AUC.
